Monument
Hidden under a large bush close to the centre circle, in the parish area of St Andrew the Great. The headstone has fallen and only the lower half was found. The kerbs are still in place but badly eroded.

George Taylor (1848-1915)
George was born in Haddenham, Cambridgeshire, but not baptised until 1860 along with four of his siblings. His father was John Burdett Taylor originally from Soham, a glazier, plumber and painter by trade. His mother Mary Ann was from Haddenham. The family lived on Main Street in Haddenham before moving to the High Street in Sutton.
George worked as a glazier and plumber for the firm of Fable & Ellis in St Tibbs Row, Cambridge. He was also chief bell ringer at the church of St Mary the Great in Cambridge town centre. He was remembered as a kind and loving father. He died at the family home in St Tibbs Row.
George and Sarah Ann were married at All Saints church, Milton, Cambridgeshire, on December 1st 1870 . They had eleven children, Florence, (1872), Alfred (1874), Herbert (1876), Charles (1879), Walter (1880), Emily (1882), Percy (1884), Ellen (1886), Lilly (1887), Ernest (1888-1892) and Emma (1891).
Sarah Ann Taylor (née Burton) (1847-1920)
Sarah was the eldest of the four children born to Wilson and Ann Burton. She was born and brought up in Church Street, Milton, Cambridgeshire, where her father was an agricultural labourer. She died at the family home in St Tibbs Row.
Florence Taylor (1872-1932)
Florence was baptised in the church of St Andrew the Great, Cambridge on April 18th 1872. She grew up at 3 St Tibb’s Row and became a cook at the Perse School for boys. She died at the family home in St Tibbs Row.
