Harry Gray (1859 – 6 July 1913)
Harry was born in Cambridge to Harry and ?. He married Caroline Ward at St Matthew’s church on June 10th 1889. They lived at 23 Norfolk Street (1891) and Harry worked as a bricklayer’s labourer. They later lived at 54 Fitzroy Street (1901) and then Bradmore Street (1911). Caroline worked as a college servant and the couple did not have any children. Harry died at Bradmore Street aged 54 years old.
Sarah Ann Timpson (née Gray) (1855 – 4 May 1918)
Sarah is believed to have been the sister of Harry and was also born in Cambridge. She married a Mr Timpson (date unknown) and had at least one daughter: Lilian Gray (known as Lily) (1887-) who was born in Finsbury Park. By 1911 she was a widow and living at 16 Shaftesbury Hill, Islington with daughter Lily, a lodger and two servants. She died at 14 Woodside Road in Wood Green, London and was buried at Mill Road Cemetery on 9 May 1918.
Caroline Gray (née Ward) (1864 – 8 January 1922)
Caroline was born in Orwell and baptised there on 7 December 1864. She was the daughter of agricultural labourer William and Lydia and grew up at Town Green Road in Orwell. After she was widowed Caroline returned to live in Orwell and died there in 1922.
