Frank Arthur Heygate (1852 – 15 February 1919)

Frank was the fourth son of Thomas Nicholas Heygate (1811-1875) and Marianne (née Swannell) (1815-1882). He was born in Hanslope, four miles west of Newport Pagnell in Buckinghamshire and grew up at Hanslope House where his father was a surgeon/general practioner. Frank worked as a doctor’s dispenser and did not marry.  In 1881 he was living in Boston, Lincolnshire and lodging with widow Elizabeth Eaves. By 1901 he had moved to Cambridge and lodged with the Hubbard family at Prospect House, Prospect Row.  He died at Prospect House in early 1919.
