This set of kerbstones lie east of the east bath on the north border of the parish of Holy Sepulchre. The inscriptions of metal letters are worn with some letters missing, but still legible. This area does not receive a regular cut and the grave set is not always visible.

John Holder (c.1842 – 24 July 1912)
John was the son of Edward and Mary Ann Holder and he grew up on King Street where his father kept a pub. In 1861 he was living with his widowed mother at 1 Salmon Lane. Mary Ann was working as a university servant, and John was working at the station. He married Sophia Greenwood on 6 February 1864 at All Saints’ Church and the couple had eleven children: Edward William (1867-1958), Charles John (1869-1919), Florence Mary (1871-), Harrison John (1874-1944), John (Jack) (1876-1963), Agnes Annie (1878-1941), Thomas James (1880-1912), George Frederick (1882-1944) and a further three children who died as infants.
John worked as a railway shunter (1871), a railway yard foreman (1891/1901). The family lived at 38 Adam and Eve Row (1871), 109 Gwydir Street (1881),Primrose Cottages, 7 Cavendish Road (1891 to at least 1911). He died aged 69 years old.
Sophia Holder (née Greenwood) (1843 – 23 December 1925)
Sophia was the daughter of Thomas and Ann (née Bunting) Greenwood and was baptised on 21 May 1843. She raised by her grandparents John and Mary Bunting at Green’s Passage, off King Street (1851). Aged 18 she was working as a general servant to Elizabeth Bavey in Billingsgate, London before marrying John Holder in 1865. She died aged 82 years old.
Many of John and Sophia’s sons also worked on the railway.
