Isabella Mary Pattison Hopkins (née Stoton) (1846 – 1915)

Isabella was born in St Neots, Huntingdonshire to William and ? Stoton. Her father was a tailor. In 1861 she was with her grandmother Isabella Paterson in Eynesbury, Huntingdonshire. She married Thomas Hopkins in St Andrew’s Church, Chesterton, Cambridge on March 12th 1872. They had 3 children Jane Catherine (1874), Alfred Arthur (1876)  both born at 3 Trafalgar Street, followed by Hannah in (1878) when they were living at 19 Milton Road. In 1881 the family were in Herbert Street with Thomas’ uncle Richard Hopkins and the 1891 to 1911 census shows them living at 21 Orchard Street. Which is where Isabella died. It is not known when or where Thomas Hopkins died but it was after the 1911 census..

Since the monument was photographed it has been damaged and the head is now missing.

Nana Hopkins (1878 -1926)

Nana was baptised Hannah, But also called Annie.  In the burial records she is named Nana Harriet Hopkins and the age is given as 45. There is some discrepancy between the dates and the age given.
