Frank Barber Legge (1913 – 24 March 1926)
Frank was the youngest son of Frederick and Harriet Legge and died at Fitzroy Street aged 14 years old.
William Arthur Legge (16 May 1903 – 26 October 1960)
William was the eldest son of Frederick and Harriet and was born in Hull, Yorkshire. He grew up at 48/50 Fitzroy Street where his father was a baker/confectionerand also worked in the family business. He married Nina Cudworth (1904-1998) in 1934 and they lived at Fitzroy Street with his mother Harriet (1939). William died at home aged 57 years old.
Frederick William Legge (10 February 1868 – 13 September 1935)
Frederick was the son of Thomas and Mary, brother of Catherine and grew up at Fitzroy Street where his father was a baker. He worked as a Salvation Army Officer and in 1901 was stationed in Hackney, before returning to Cambridge to take over the family business. Frederick married Harriet Waud Barber in Hackney in 1902 and they had three sons: William Arthur, Thomas Frederick (1906-1987) and Frank Barber. In October 1909 Frederick was made a special constable but nevertheless appeared in court in January 1920 for ‘driving a float after dark without a white near light and a red rear light’ – he was fined 7s and 6d. He died aged 67 years old at the Duke of York Nursing Home in Bradford.
Harriet Waud Legge (née Barber) (6 August 1873-6 June 1956)
Harriet was born in Sheffield and died at Fitzroy Street aged 82 years old.
