This plinth with broken cross, located in the parish of St Andrew the Great, stands 6 rows east of the path and 3 monuments north of the east west path that runs from the centre circle. Most of the carved inscription is now illegible.

Eleanor Sarah Magee (1840 – 22 June 1896)
Eleanor was the fourth of the eight children born to John Duncan Magee (1812-1849) and Elizabeth (née Wilson) (1819-1849). She was born in Ely, and baptised at St. Mary’s Church on 10 March 1840. John Magee was a cabinet maker, joiner and paper hanger as well as a lay clerk at Ely Cathedral, and died in December 1849. Her mother Elizabeth had died two months previous. In 1871 Eleanor was working in Swaffham, as housekeeper to the Gardner family. John Gardner was a chemist/druggist with a shop at Market Place. She then worked for Charles and Susan Palmer, also in Swaffham as a ladies companion (1881). From at least 1891 onwards she lived at 15 Emmanuel Road with her aunt Sarah Cox, and sister Emma. Eleanor died at Emmanual Road aged 56 years old.
Emma Magee (1837 – 22 November 1912)
Emma was the second child of John and Elizabeth and was baptised at St. Mary’s Church on 16 June 1837. After her parents deaths she went to live with William and Sarah Cox, her aunt and uncle at 21 Pembroke Street. William was the head porter at Emmanuel College (1851). Emma worked as ladies companion to spinster Sarah Shanly at King Street, King’s Lynn (1881) and then returned to live with her aunt at Emmanual Road (1891). In 1901 she was running a Lodging House from 15 Emmanuel Road, and then worked as housekeeper for the London family at 37 Barton Road (1911). She later moved to 93 Victoria Road and died aged 75 years old.
