This round-headed headstone, with kerb stones and footstone, in the parish area of St Botolph, is located north east of the centre circle, east of the north-bound central path, 12 rows eastwards.

Edward Musk (1845 – 6 February 1908)
Edward was the son of James and Edith (née Coas) and was baptised on 4 January 1846 at St. Paul’s Church, Cambridge. James was a gardener and the family lived at Newnham, where James later ran the Jolly Millers pub. Edward married Sarah Leader on 27 July 1871 in Bourn and they had eight children: Henry James (1762-), Edward John (1872-1947), Catherine Edith (1874-1952), Caroline Leader (1876-1876), Jane Elizabeth (1877-1949), George (1879-1880), Caroline Lucy (1880-1958) and Clara (1882-). The family lived at the Jolly Millers, where Edward was the landlord and also worked as a wheelwright. He died at the pub aged 63 years old.
Sarah Ann Musk (née Leader) (1845 – 18 November 1926)
Sarah was born in Bourn, eight miles west of Cambridge and was the daughter of John Leader (1800-1880) and Caroline (née Chew) (1807-1870). Aged 17 she was lodging in Bourn and working as a dressmaker (1861) and then acted as a housekeeper for her widowed father (1871), before marrying Edward Musk. After she was widowed she ran the Jolly Millers with her daughter Clara (1911). In January 1917 Sarah transferred the license from herself to Clara and it was reported in The Cambridge Daily News that ‘the family had held the license for over 50 years, and they were the oldest license holders in the Borough’. However a few days later a letter to the Editor by Mr Bailey of Arlington House noted that William Griffin who ran The Grapes, Histon Road had held the license there for over 57 years.
Sarah died at the Jolly Millers aged 81 years old. In 1939 the Jolly Millers was being run by Edward and Sarah’s daughter Caroline Lucy, meaning it was in the family for over 80 years. A picture of the Jolly Millers can be seen here, although the building has now been demolished.
