Arthur Samuel Walter Nash (5 May 1885 – 24 January 1942)
Arthur was the only son of Ebenezer and Eva Nash, and his father was a draper. He grew up at 34 Kingston Street (1891) and then at 102 Mill Road where his father ran a draper’s shop. By the age of 15 he was assisting his father in the business. He married Florence Mabel M Blows (1891-1980) in 1914 and the couple went to live at Thorpe, Coleridge Road (at least 1927-1930). They had at least one daughter: Moyra C (1919-) and later went to run a draper’s shop at 87 Queens Road, Leicester (1939). Arthur died in at 4 Adderly Road in Leicester aged 56 years old.
His widow died in Norwich in 1980.
