Benjamin Reeve (February 1871 – 15 December  1923)

Benjamin was the son of shoemaker Thomas and Rhoda and grew up on the High Street in Great Chesterford. He was baptised in Great Chesterford on 23 April 1871. Aged 20 he was working as a labourer in a malthouse, but later worked as a carman (delivery driver) for Great Eastern Railway. He married Agnes Barrett on 13 April 1899 in Great Chesterford and they had two children: Lillian Mary (1900-1953) and Thomas Jack (1902-1979). The family lived in Whittlesey until at least 1911, and Benjamin died in Cambridge aged 52 years old.

Agnes Reeve  (née Barrett) (12 October 1871 – 4 December 1960)

Agnes was also born in Great Chesterford and was the eldest daughter of Job and Mary Ann. She grew up on Church Hill where her father was a beer seller (1871).  After she was widowed she lived at 141 Ross Street with son Thomas and daughter-in-law Agnes (1939) and died at home in 1960.
