the beloved wife of WILLIAM TAYLOR who died Feb 19 1865 in her 63rd year

Elizabeth Taylor (c.1802 – 19 February 1865)
Elizabeth was born in Bow, London and married William Taylor. They had at least five children: Elizabeth (1829-), William (1829-), Mary (1830-), Sarah (1832-1904), and Ann Maria (1844-1889). William was a master bootmaker and the family lived at 17 King Street (at least 1851 onwards). Elizabeth died at home ‘after many years of great affliction, borne with Christian resignation’ and was described as ‘the beloved wife of Mr. William Taylor’.
William Taylor (1801 – 16 December 1875)
William was born in Swavesey, Cambridgeshire and in 1861 was employing 3 people in his bootmaking business. He died at Fulbourn Asylum and was buried at Mill Road Cemetery on 21 December 1875.
William and Elizabeth’s grandchildren Harry Goodwin Legge (son of Ann Maria), Richard Arthur Royall (son of Sarah) and Minnie Maud Orpwood (daughter of Sarah) are also buried at Mill Road Cemetery,
