Jared Watson (1865 – 11 January 1935)
Jared was the son of Jared and Ellen (née Hillyard) and grew up at 2 Sayles Buildings on Station Road. His father worked as a railway engine fitter and by the age of 15 Jared was working as the same (1881). Jared (Snr) died in 1886 and Jared then lived at 45 Union Terrace with his widowed mother and four of his siblings (1891) . He later lived with sister Ellen and brother Walter at 108 Argyle Street and died aged 69 years old.
Ellen Watson (13 October 1867 – 19 December 1940)
Ellen lived at 108 Argyle Street from at least 1901 onwards and acted as housekeeper for her two brothers.
Walter Watson (16 October 1874 – 11 September 1954)
Walter worked as a railway fireman (1911) and later as an engine driver for L.N.E.R (London North Eastern Railway). He died at Argyle Street a month before his 80th birthday.
