This fallen headstone lies 4 rows from the west wall on the southern border of the parish of Andrew the Less. The carved inscription has eroded but is still legible.

Charles Barton (1802 – 26 March 1888)
Charles was born in Cambridge and married Eliza Cooke on 12 November 1827 at St. Andrew’s Church. Eliza had a young daughter: Emma (1826-1903), who was known as Emma Barton Cooke. Charles was a shoemaker and the family lived at 26 East Road (1851). In 1871 the couple were living with the widowed Emma and their grandchildren at the Harp Inn, 84 King Street, which Emma was the landlady of. By 1881 they were living at 5 Provident Court, and 79 year old Charles was still documented as a shoemaker. He died at home and his funeral was held on 31 March.
Eliza Barton (nee Cooke) (1801 – 11 March 1890)
Eliza was born in Stow cum Quy and after she was widowed lived with her daughter Emma at 122 Gwydir Street, where she died aged 89 years old. She was buried at Mill Road Cemetery on 14 March.
