Monument

The headstone in December 2024

This small headstone is propped up against the lower north wall that runs next to the Gwydir St industrial estate. It is about 19 metres from the corner and next to the headstone of  Newell AL207.  We cannot say where exactly Bertie’s grave is but it is likely to be close by. The carved inscription is very worn but still legible.
