This small headstone set within kerbs is located in the south east corner of the cemetery in the parish area of Holy Trinity. It stands 1 row to the west of the path just after the bend. The carved inscription is still clear but often covered in ivy.

Arthur Beasley (13 October 1868 – 22 December 1943)
Arthur was the son of William (1815-1909) and Mary Ann (née Layton) (1828-1903). His father was a brickerlayer and he grew up at 51 East Road (1871/1881). In 1891 and 1901 Arthur was living with his parents and siblings at 175 Gwydir Street. He worked as a painter (1891) and then as head porter at Corpus Christi College (1901). He married Eliza Franklin c.1901 and they had three children: Marjorie Franklin (1902-1977), Jack Franklin (1905-1989) and Joan Emma (1910-). They lived at Emery Street and by 1939 Arthur had retired. He died at home aged 75 years old.
Maggie Eliza Beasley (née Franklin) (26 July 1878 – 29 August 1953)
Maggie was born in Islington and baptised at St. Mary’s Church, Islington on 18 August 1878. She was the daughter of caretaker Harry and Jane (née Shepherd) Franklin and before her marriage to Arthur was working as a dressmaker. She was still living at Emery Street in 1953 and died at the Victoria Cottage Hospital, Thame.
