Clara Nash Coward (née Robinson) (7 August 1863 – 27 February 1939)
Clara was the daughter of Alice and James White Robinson , who are buried in the parish of St Mary the Great. She was baptised at St. Mary the Great church on 26 June 1864 and grew up at 23 Market Hill, where her father was a shoe manufacturer. Clara worked as a teacher before marrying tailor Thomas Coward at at the Zion Baptist Chapel, East Road, Cambridge on 4 July 1888. The couple had two children, both of whom are buried in the same grave set, and lived at Abbey Road (1891), 6 Brunswick Walk (1901) and 66 Walnut Tree Avenue (at least 1911 onwards). Clara died at home aged 75 years old.
Thomas Coward (11 August 1866 – 23 October 1945)
The sixth and last child of William Oliver and Mary Coward, who are buried in the parish of Holy Sepulchre. In September 1939 he was living at Walnut Tree Avenue with daughter Elsie. He died at home aged 79 years old.
Allen Thomas Coward (1889- 1889)
His name does not appear in the baptism index, so it is possible that he was baptised in a non conformist chapel. His birth was registered in Cambridge and he died at 21 Maids Causeway. The burial records show he was buried at Mill Road Cemetery on 7 August 1889 aged 17 days old, which is at odds with date of death recorded on the grave monument.
Elsie Clara Coward (17 April 1891 – 12 October 1985)
Elsie worked as a milliner and lived with her parents until their deaths. She lived at 66 Walnut Tree Avenue until at least 1966 and died at the Langdon House Nursing Home, Scotland Road, Cambridge aged 94 years old.
