EMMA GLASSCOCK who passed away Dec 10th 1948 aged 73
Emma Glasscock (21 August 1875 – 10 December 1948)
Emma was born in Cambridge, but little is known of her early life. She married Frederick Harold Glasscock (1883-1957) in 1902. Her maiden name was given as Warren on the marriage registration, but it might have been Willers and was misspelt. Emma and Frederick had four children: Maud Willers (1902-1973), Ivy (1905-), Frederick Harold (1907-1979) and Bert Willers (1909-1970). Frederick worked as a house painter, and the family lived at 15 Abbey Walk. By the time Frederick enlisted in the Army in March 1915 he was working as a motor driver, and by 1939 he was pensioned due to incapacity.
