This headstone, now fallen, lies just east of the central path roughly 10 plots from the north path. we were unable to verify the inscription but relied on the CHFHS location map. This area has been left to grow wild and the monuments are no longer visible.

Charles Spencer Goody (23 March 1788 – 19 September 1868)
Charles was the son of James and Hannah Goodie (also spelt Goody). He was born in Newmarket, and baptised at St Mary’s in Newmarket on 29th March 1788. He married Francis Cook at St Martin in the Field Church on 19th March 1834.
The family lived in Cambridge and Charles was a draper. They had at least four children: Rev Charles James (1835-1912), Spencer Thomas (1836-1888), George William (1839-1920) and Frances Hannah Spencer (1843-1878). They lived at St Peter’s House (1851) and then at 6 Parkside (at least 1861 onwards). In 1844 Charles was working for W. Eaden Lilley, at Market Street. Charles died at home aged 80 years old.
Francis Goody (née Cook) (c.1806 – 12 September 1889)
Francis was the daughter of William and Ann Cook. She was born in Worthing in Sussex, and baptised there on 22nd May 1808. She married aged c.28 years old. After being widowed she continued to live at 6 Parkside and died at home aged 83 years old.
The lease of 6 Parkside was sold at auction in November 1889 and was said to consist of: Spacious Entrance Hall, Lofty Dining and Drawing Rooms [on either side of hall], fitted with marble mantelpieces, and Housekeeper’s Pantry with sink, on the ground floor; two Bedrooms, small Sitting Room, Linen Closet, Housemaid’s Closet with sink and w.c on the first floor; three Bedrooms on the second floor; two well-fitted Kitchens, two Store Closets, pantry, Larder, Wine and Beer Cellar, Coalplace and Servants’ w.c. in basement; with area approach from Yard at Side. Gas and Water laid on. The property is held under a Lease from St. Peter’s College for a term of 40 years from September 29th 1878 , at a Ground rent of 5s. per annum for the first 26 years, and of £5 for the remaining 14 years of the lease, and has a frontage of upwards of 69ft to Park-side, and a depth of 68ft 6in; 29ft 6in of the frontage is available for the erection of another house by dispensing with the stable, and there is ample room at the back to enlarge the house, at a small cost, without materially encroaching upon the garden’
