Gordon Frederick Bernard Haggis (1909 – 1 April 1928)

Gordon was the eldest son of Frederick and Frances and died at 8 Shelley Row aged 18 years old.

Frances Elizabeth Elsie Haggis (née Squires) (21 August 1881 – 8 September 1959)

Frances was the youngest daughter of Henry and Harriett (née Smith) and grew up at 66 Sturton Street. Her father was a french polisher and aged 19 Frances was living at home and working as a domestic servant. She married Frederick Haggis in 1907 and they had at least two sons: Gordon Frederick Bernard and Herbert Arthur (1910-1982).  Frederick worked as a college handyman and they lived at 11 Greens Road (1911) and then 8 Shelley Row (at least 1914 onwards). She died at home aged 78 years old.

Frederick William Haggis (25 June 1881 – 2 February 1969)

Frederick is believed to have been the son of Frederick and Matilda and was raised at 1 Doric Street.  His father was a draper’s porter and aged 19 Frederick was working as a domestic gardener. He died at Shelley Row in 1969.
