The headstone, which has now fallen, is located roughly thirteen rows east of the central path in the northern half of the cemetery. Turning east of the central path look for a headstone and coped stone of the Francis family and it is a few metres south of these. The inscription is now badly eroded.

In Treasured and Loving Memory of KENNETH A F JONES d Oct 2 1941 aged 28

Kenneth Arthur Frederick Jones (16 November 1912 – 2 October 1941)

Kenneth was the son of Matilda May (née Thompson)(1889-1960) and Albert (1890-1952) Jones. Albert was a print machine minder. In 1939 he was living with his parents and younger brother Neville at 122 Argyle Street and was working for the university as an exam clerk. He studied at the Cambridge Technical School, taking evening classes there  and in November 1939 gained Stage II (second class) in German. Kenneth died of T.B. at the Papworth Village Settlement.

His grand parents William Arthur and Mary Ann Thompson are buried in the parish of Holy Sepulchre.
