Mary Ann Moore (1833 – 28 August 1857)

Mary was the only daughter of James and Charlotte. She died at East Road and her funeral was held on 3 September 1857.

James Moore (d1806 – 16 September 1833)

James married Charlotte Bland on 21 September 1832 at St. Andrew the Less Church and they had one daughter: Mary Ann. He died aged 27 years old.

Charlotte Moore (née Bland) (1807 – 26 November  1893)

Charlotte was born in Bottisham, a village six miles east of Cambridge and was widowed less than a year after her marriage. She worked as a housekeeper to a merchant, who lived on East Road (1851), before moving to 5 Fitzroy Street, where she worked as a seamstress (1861-  1871). In April 1871 she won an election to get a place at the Knight and Mortlocks Almshouses, King Street. There were 38 candidates for 2 places, and Charlotte lived at the Almshouses for the next 22 years. She died there aged 86 years old and was buried with her husband and daughter on 29 November 1893.
