She married Charles Ogden in 1893 when she was 23 years old. They moved to March in Cambridgeshire where Charles worked as a railway porter.
They had seven children in total: Mary [1895-], Edith [1897-1915], Hilda [1899-1984], Lucy [1902-1917], William Arthur [1907-], Ethel [1909-] and another child who died in infancy. Elizabeth and Charles lived in March until at least 1912, but had moved to Cambridge by at 1915.

Charles Ogden (25 July 1868 – 16 June 1952)

He grew up in Digby, but by the age of 23 was living in Gainsborough and working as a railway porter. He continued to work in the railway – and was eventually a ‘railway foreman porter’ [sic]. He died a few weeks after Elizabeth aged 83 years old.
