Monument
This set of kerbstones, located in the parish of All Saints, lie 6 rows west of the central path and 2 plots south of the north path. The stones appear to be intact although we did not uncover the whole monument which has been hidden under vegetation for many years. The inscriptions of metal letters appear sound.

Elizabeth Ann Ryder (née Poulter) (1877 – 30 August 1936)
Elizabeth was the daughter of Philip and Lettice (née Plumb) Poulter and grew up at 71 Jesus Lane (1881), 11 Manor Road (1891) and 15 Park Street (1901). From the age of 14 she was worked as a dressmaker and married Ernest Ryder in 1908. Ernest was a tailor and they lived at 205 Mill Road (1911 to at least 1930) and then at 35 Hemingford Road. Elizabeth died at home aged 58 years old.
Elizabeth’s brother Ernest , nephew Bertie and sister Lily are also buried at Mill Road Cemetery.
Ernest Walter Ryder (12 December 1880 – 4 July 1955)
Ernest was the son of miller Walter Ryder and his wife Elizabeth. He grew up at 17 Bradmore Street (1891) and then at 62 Bradmore Street (1901). After he was widowed he continued to live at Hemingford Road (1939), and in 1942 married for a second time to Edith Lilian Cook (1897-1964). Edith was a spinster and the couple settled at her house – 65 Greville Road. Ernest died at home aged 74 years old.
