Monument

Inscription

Mary Ann Simson (1806 – 31 December 1882)

Mary died at Geldart Terrace and was buried on 4 January 1883. The parish burial record documented her age as being 74 years old. Little else is known of her life. It is possible that the name Simson used on the burial record and grave monument was actually Simpson.
