This headstone stand alongside the southern north wall that runs along the edge of the Gwydir St industrial estate. It is 4 monuments from the corner it is often hidden under bramble. The carved top has a small cross inserted under which is the carved inscription, which is badly eroded but still mostly legible.

Emily Taylor (née Pink) (1842 – 28 April 1897)
Emily was the daughter of William and Naomi (née Wilkin) and grew up at Coldham’s Lane. William Pink was a labourer who died in 1859. Emily married William Taylor (1835-) in 1860 and they had at least eleven children: William (1862-), Emily (1864-), Martha (1866-1938), Frederick (1868-1939), Ellen (1871-), Alfred (1871-1871), George (1874-), Edward John (1875-1950), Alfred (1876-1934), Clara (1878-), John Henry (1881-) and Louisa (1884-1951). William was a baker and the family lived at 6 New Streeet (1861), 2 Broad Street (1871), Staffordshire Street (1881/1891). Emily died at 6 Staffordshire Street aged 54 years old (although the grave monument states 55 years).
Emily’s sister Naomi is also buried at Mill Road Cemetery
