George Thomas Warwick (1867 – 31 January 1934)
George was born in London and baptised at St. Dunstan and All Saints’ Church on 14 July 1867. He was the son of Edward and Ellen Warwick and worked as a watchmaker/jeweller. In 1891 he was lodging in Stoke-on-Trent before marrying Agnes Eliza Sirman (1876 – 1953) in Bradfield, near Reading in 1902. The couple lived at 2 Wote Street in Basingstoke (1911) and had at least five children: Doreen Agnes (1906-), Vera Winifred (1908-1984), Constance Ellen (1910-1972), Donovan Gordon (1911-1996) and Grace Joan (1913-1996). They moved to Havant (1913), Newbury (1920) and then 11 Mackenzie Road, Cambridge (1925-1928). By 1930 they were living at 60 Glisson Road, where George died aged 66 years old.
Agnes Warwick stayed living at Glisson Road until 1938, and then ran a Lodging house from 13 Collier Road (1939). She seems to have moved to be with her daughter Constance Mills as she died in Kent in 1953 and is buried with Constance.
