Monument
This set of kerbs, located in the northern section of the parish of Andrew the Great, is midway between the west path and the centre circle, 10 rows west along the east west path from the centre circle, and 11 monuments north.
Although the kerb stones are intact, the centre has collapsed and the flower holder tipped over. The inscription of metal letters is mostly intact.

Charles Alfred Ellis (1862 – 24 May 1931)
Charles was the son of George and Emma Ellis and grew up at 13 Church Street (1871), and then 6 City Road (1881). His father worked as a bootcloser and aged 17 (1881) Charles was working as a college servant. He married Susan Scarr on 24 September 1885 at Christ Church and they had seven children: Charles Archie (1886-1922), Florence Gertrude Mabel (1888-1938), William Arthur (1890-1927), Violet (1892-), Ernest James (1898-1960), Percy (1900-1914) and Harold (1905-1992). After his marriage Charles worked in a china shop as an assistant/salesman and the family lived at 12 Clarendon Street (1891), 32 City Road (1901) and 29 Mill Road (1911). He died at 294 Mill Road aged 67 years old.
Percy Ellis (1900-July 1914)
Percy was the sixth child of Charles and Susan and died aged 14 years old.
Susan Ellis (née Scarr) (18 June 1867 – 19 February 1945)
Susan was born in Duxford and grew up in Stapleford (1871) and Church End, Great Shelford (1881). She was the daughter of James and Elizabeth (née Pouter) Scarr, and her father worked as an agricultural labourer. Aged 14 Susan was working in a paper mill, along with her older sister Janet (1881) and maried Charles Ellis when she was 18 years old. In 1939 she was living at 31 Grafton Street with nurse Laura Ashley, and was recorded as being ‘incapacitated by illness’. She later moved to live in Ilford, Essex and died at 294 Mill Road.
