Emma Florence Fuller (28 September 1877 – 6 November 1899)
Emma was born in Brentford and baptised at St. Barnabas’ Church, Finsbury on 20 December 1877. She was the eldest child of William and Julia Fuller and her father worked as a gasfitter when she was born. The family lived in Ealing (1881) before moving to Cambridge by 1887 where William Fuller was landlord of the Duke of Cambridge pub, 5 Short Street. He later became the landlord of the Forester, 75 Burleigh Street, where Emma died aged 22 years old. She was buried at Mill Road Cemetery on 9 November.
Julia Ann Fuller (née Christmas) (24 May 1854 – 3 April 1921)
Julia was born in Hammersmith and baptised at St. Paul’s Church on 2 July 1854. She was the daughter of Benjamin and Julia Christmas, and grew up in Watford where her father ran a general shop (1861). Aged 18, Julia was a housemaid for ironmonger John Giles in Brentford (1871), before marrying William Fuller on 18 December 1876 at St. Barnabas’ Church, Finsbury. They had six children: Emma Florence, William (1879-), Arthur (1881-1945), Alfred Claude (1885-1973), Maude (1887-) and Ernest (1889-).
William Fuller (1854 – 19 October 1938)
William was born in Brentford, and was the son of gasfitter William Fuller. He also worked as a gasfitter, before later becoming a landlord of two Cambridge pubs. The Foresters’ was later run by his son Arthur (at least 1933 onwards), and William retired to 10 Jesus Terrace where he died aged 84 years old.
