Located roughly sixteen rows to the east of the Norfolk Street gate in the north of the cemetery. Some of the has been obscured by lichen growth.

Mildred Susan Matthews (1901-1904)
Mildred was born in 1901 in Cambridge, Cambridgeshire. She was the youngest of eleven children born to Thomas Matthews (1864-1924) and Emma Elizabeth Matthews (née Stalley) (1865-1939). Mildred died on 6 January 1904 in Cambridge, aged 2 years and 6 months.
Thomas Matthews (1864-1924)
Thomas was born in 1864 in Coton, Cambridgeshire. He was one of at least eleven children born to John Matthews (c.1827-1885) and Susan Matthews (c.1837-1917) (née Oakman). In 1871 the family lived at 11 Gloucester Place, Cambridge. In 1881 Thomas was still living at home at Madingley House, Cambridge. However, he was working as a barber. Thomas married Emma Elizabeth Stalley (1865-1939) in 1883 in Cambridge. They had eleven children: Percy Sidney Thomas (1884-1957); Horace John (1885-?); Herbert James (1887-1955); Ethel May (1889-?); Charles Frederick (1891-1950); Florence Elizabeth (1893-?); Laura Louise (1894-1981); Ernest William (1897-1959); Ada Helen (1899-1978); Daisy Minnie (1900-1978); and Mildred Susan (1901-1904). By 1891 the family was living at 101 and 103 Norfolk Street, Cambridge. Thomas died on 20 March 1924 in Cambridge.
Thomas’s younger brother, Frederick Matthews (1874-1952), and his family were also buried in this cemetery.
Emma Elizabeth Matthews (née Stalley)(1865-1939)
Emma was born in 1865 in Cambridge. He was one of at least six children born to Thomas Stalley (c.1817-1892) and Eliza Stalley (née ?) (c.1821-1896). In 1871 the family was living at 33 Eden Street, Cambridge. Emma married Thomas Matthews (1864-1924) in 1883 in Cambridge. Emma died on 1 May 1939 at 2, Wray’s Almshouses after ‘a short illness’.
