Frederick Griffin (17 Ocotber 1860 – 8 November 1888)
Frederick was the youngest son of Luke and Ann Griffin and aged 20 was lodging in Richmond, working as an unqualified medical assistant. He died in London aged 28 years old.
Ann Griffin (née Hood) (1829 – 10 June 1907)
Ann was the daughter of John and Sarah (née Sindall) and was baptised in Littleport, near Ely on 16 November 1829. Her father was a farmer, and they lived at Victoria Street, Littleport. Ann married Luke Griffin in Cambridge in 1853 and they had two sons: George Hood (1857-1935) and Frederick. Luke was a grocer when they married but from 1861 onwards the family lived at 10 Brunswick Place and Luke was a coprolite merchant. She was still living at Brunswick Place in 1907 and died aged 77 years old.
Luke Griffin (1824 – 9 December 1907)
Luke was born in Wisbech, the son of George and Mary Griffin. He was baptised on 30 January 1824 and died six months after his wife aged 82 years old.
George Hood Griffin (1857 – 23 November 1935)
George was born in Feltwell, near Thetford and lived with his parents until their deaths. In 1881 he was documented as being a coprolite merchant liked his father, but in 1891 did not have a profession. In 1911 he was living by himself at 59 Maid’s Causeway and was working as ‘speaker for the Liberal Unionist Council’ (a breakway faction of the Liberal Party). By 1935 he was living at 10 Ferry Path and died aged 78 years old.
