Alice Gertrude Prior (1876 – 24 January 1896)
Alice was known by her middle name of Gertrude and was the daughter of Henry and Eliza. She was born in Maldon, Essex and grew up on Market Hill where her father was a furniture dealer. The family lived briefly on Bridge Street in Bishop Stortford (1891) before moving to Cambridge. She died aged 19 years old.
Alfred Edwin Prior (10 June 1878 – 6 July 1951)
Alfred was the only son of Henry and Eliza and was also born in Maldon, Essex. He also became a furniture dealer and took over the family business with his eldest sister Florence. He lived at 221 Chesterton Road with Florence and sister Jane who ran the home. He died at Chesterton Road aged 73 years.
