This broken cross set within kerbstones lies 7 rows east of the central path next to the Gallyon headstone. It has been covered by bramble for may years and a tree had grown within the grave set. The carved inscription is very eroded and barely legible

Elizabeth Ellen( Lizzie) Rutter (née Gallyon) (1862 – 14 May 1885)
Lizzie was the daughter of William and Mary Ann Gallyon. Her father was a gunmaker, and had a shop at 66 Bridge Street. William Gallyon died when she was 15 years old, and aged 18 she was living with her mother and siblings at Bridge Street, working as a milliner. She married Augustus Emmanuel Rutter (1858-1934) in 1883. Augustus was the son of Thomas and Sarah Rutter, and worked as an accountant. The couple lived at 9 Emmanuel Road in Cambridge.
Lizzie died at Emmanuel Road as a result of complications during childbirth. She was 22 years old when she died, and her infant child also named Elizabeth Ellen died a few days later on 20 May 1883.
Augustus Rutter married for a second time to Annie Elizabeth Green (1869-1956) in 1890. They had four children.
