Sarah Ann Adams (1817 – 29 December 1879)
Sarah was born in Tenterden in Kent and married John Adams. The couple had at least two children: Anna Louisa Cunnington (1837-1902) and Dora Jane Newton (1842-1902). Charles worked as a cabinet maker and upholsterer and the family lived at Jesus Lane (1851/1861) and then at Evenden Villas, 13 Hills Road (1871). Sarah died at home aged 62 years old.
John Adams (1811 – 4 May 1894)
John was the son of John and Mary Adams and was born in Chatham, Kent. He was baptised there on 3 March 1811. but had moved to live in Cambridge by the time he was 2 years old. His father was a baker and John became a cabinet maker. After he was widowed he continue to live at Evenden Villas with his eldest daughter Anna and died there aged 83 years old.
