This headstone is about 3 rows east of the central path in the parish of Andrew the Less.It is just south of the path that leads to the Gwydir St gate. The inscription is badly eroded and a tree is growing directly in front of the stone.

Mary Ann Mason (Ann) (née Scott) (c.1779 – March 1860)
Mary married Henry Mason on 22 August 1804 at Holy Trinity Church, when she was c.25 years old and is believed to have been known as Ann through her life. Henry worked for the inland revenue as a clerk and the couple had at least 11 children: Matilda (1807-1815), Emma Scott (1809-1873), Martin Frederic (1812) Henry Paul (1811-1893), Edward (1813-), Helen Martha (1814-), James Thomas (1816), A Son (1818-), Wilford (1821-), George (1821-) and Frances (1826-). The family lived at Low Close Cottage on Brewer’s Lane, East Road from at least 1841 onwards. Ann died at home aged 80 years old.
Henry Martin Mason (c.1782 – 10 April 1864)
Henry was born in Cambridge the son of Henry & Mary Mason. He was baptised in the pariah of St Andrew the Great as his father held the lease for the Wrestler’s Inn in Petty Cury.
After he was widowed he lived at Brewhouse Lane with his daughter Emma, son Henry and his family (1861). He died at home (pr) or Bradmore Street, East Road aged 81 years old.
Henry’s brother in law William Patman who took over the Wrestler’s Inn in 1800 is buried here
Emma Scott Mason (4 June 1809 – 8 March 1873)
Emma was born in Cambridge, and baptised in Essex on 9 August 1809. She lived at home with her parents and then moved to live at 11 Parkside with her younger sister Frances. She died at home aged 63 years old.
